I dealt with 4 nurses and 1 doctor. (Doctor Ben) and they were all so pleasant even at a late hour. First time at this hospital and I was really happy despite being sick obviously. Good job Oakville!

My partner was attended to and all of the staff were kind and compassionate.

If not for the thoroughness of the emergency staff here, we would not have known about his brain tumour, perhaps until it would be too late for a full recovery. I am very grateful to the staff here at Trafalgar Memorial.

My mother was in emergency for falls 9 times before they finally deigned to omit her long term. It took them a month and a half to figure out what was going on and now they plan to keep her there 3 months longer because they can't consult with neurology until the end of February. It's different nurses and doctors every time I talk to anyone, no one knows what is going on and many are straight up rude. But hey, at least they have live music and the nurses all have those super cute Superman t-shirts! People are going to suffer long term and needlessly die because the staff can't be bothered to do the bare minimum.

The staff and the doctor we saw listened carefully to my partner's symptoms and description of his pain, and while outwardly he had no physical issues, they were thorough and kept him for scans which revealed a tumour. The staff had a room arranged at the Trillium hospital's neurosurgery centre and has us transferred there in the same day.

Who assesses the care in this facility ??

Friend went there for alcoholic withdrawal . . . wow!! No empathy at all, loaded her up with enough Valium to kill a horse, and nurses had no idea how to conduct the assessment for withdrawal symptoms.

We went to the emergency here in September. The hospital is clean, has good sized rooms, and excellent staff.

Beautiful new building but same inept staff that came over from the original hospital. Mom had pneumonia and has dementia... if I wasn't there for each meal, she would never have been fed. Was kept in bed for over a week because Physio had not seen her yet...staff refused to even have her up in a chair! When I demanded go see Physio, they were shocked mom was left in bed.

Update: Despite me voicing concerns over bringing my mother home, they discharged her anyway ignoring anything I had to say (got to shove people out so there's more beds!). They initially we're going to discharge her on a Monday, giving me a week to prepare then suddenly it was Friday. They discharge at 10 am so if your family member needs help be prepared to miss work or they will sit in the "lounge". Took the staff 25 minutes to find paperwork despite the fact they knew she was being discharged that day and we needed to get downstairs for the care-a-van. Nobody ever once explained things properly to me, talked to me or cared what I had to say. We're now "set up" at home with "great" community services who don't show up on time and are pretty much useless. Long term care in Canada is non existent unless you have money. Disgusting.

I was in inpatient for a couple weeks there in May of 2017, and the staff there were very nice. I had to get other things done in the hospital, and everywhere, I had no problems. Doctor Brown for CAPIS is a very good, very funny doctor. The nurses were all nice, besides a few, but that's to be expected. The staff made me feel safe and they tried their best. I remember back to the inpatient unit fondly.
