  This is the second time in a month I have visited The Bay at Oakville Place and left frustrated. The service is absolutely atrocious. I lapped the store three times looking for a Bay employee who might be willing to ring in my purchases. Each salesperson I met would direct me to a check out with no sales clerk. I think I'll try my luck somewhere else.

  Hudson's Bay's systems and people who assist with it are terrible. My this month's experience was very negative. I ordered a suitcase on one day flash sale. The system accepted my order, presumably after checking availability. It sent me an email confirming the order. The next day it sends me an email saying my order has been cancelled giving a non-specific reason. We phoned several agents (Rita, Jone, Jenine all very unpleasant to deal with) and got the order reinstated after a supervisor was contacted to allow the same discount price. Again a confirmation email came forth, to be followed by a cancellation email the following morning. After arguing my case, I was totally disappointed and gave up. My wife refused to accept it. She went and met the Outlet Manager at Hudson Bay at Oakvile Place. Such a gentleman. He treated her royal. Listened to her problem. He offered her the same suitcase at the discount price, just a different colour, which she was very happy to accept. He had a big stock of 2 different colours on shop floor. I regret not taking down his name because he deserves credit for it.

  Newly renovated store but bathrooms are not hands-free. They are "door free" though for some strange reason! Men’s change rooms are locked, and there is no signage or button to press to have someone give you access. Once you finally gain access, good luck going back for a different size as the door automatically slams behind you and you're back at the end of the line. The Bay is also ridiculously scented - the smell of perfume lingers literally "everywhere". Bring a gas mask if you have any kind of sensitivity to fragrances. The slick mirror style marble tiles used throughout the store simulate an ice rink when wet, so try not to fall!
