24 Pet Watch has become a stellar pet health insurance company. They have helped me take superior care of our kitties. The customer service is excellent and agents have been extremely helpful when I have had questions. We have been enrolled in this program for almost 14 years and we could not have taken such amazing care of our very sick elderly cat without the help they offered us. I highly recommend 24 Pet Watch.

Then they said that changing the phone number did not matter because they only contact through email if you do not pay the membership. Let me say that again: THEY ONLY CONTACT THROUGH EMAIL IF YOU DON'T PAY. So make sure your email address is on file! They did not have my email address on file. My dog is 6 years old and I've had him since a pup. So they would not have contacted me without an email on file?!

I felt very frustrated by the end of the call and feel like this product from 24 PetWatch is not something I would want in the future.

I called 24 Pet Watch today to update my phone number on my dog's microchip.

People complain about the difficulty of feeling out the claim form. That is a matter of willingness on the part of your vet. Yet, it is true that other insurances are easier to deal with.

What a sham! I feel like they took my email address just to be able to up sell me pet insurance in the future and send fear mongering B's about not having a membership. The lady I spoke to did say they will email me stuff.

I honestly thought I was covered, so did my vet! (I am in Canada, but I know this company is in USA also. It might be worth looking into if you use their services, if this is their policy state-side also)

I emailed my vet about this and they called 24 PetWatch to clarify what the membership is about. The vet had no idea you had to pay an extra yearly fee either. My vet called me back right away and thanked me for the heads up. They are looking for another company to deal with other than 24PetWatch now.

For years we've been paying $100/month with $100-150 deductible. My cat was always healthy Until one day cancer hit him in the nose. We thought: No worries, we have insurance... right? Well, we found out the insurance company that kept telling us how they would be covering everything after meeting the deductible, would only cover "everything" for up to $1,000. After doing the math, for us, it would have been better to save $1,200/year to cover the thousands of dollars that cancer treatment cost.

They first tried to upsell me on a membership. (Either $21.95 or $64.95 for lifetime.) They told me without paying the membership fee THEY WILL NOT CONTACT ME any other way OTHER THAN EMAIL if my pet gets lost. I honestly thought getting the microchip tag was enough.

Do your research on pet microchips. The majority of the time they do not even work. I got my chip part of a spay and neuter plan. I called today to get my information changed and they won't do it unless you pay the 64$ lifetime plan. I have already gone to a vet to get the chip removed and it'll cost me almost 600$!!! I never even wanted the chip, but since it's done cheaply by the HBSPCA for only 20$ once a month I got it done for my cat. Anyone out wanting a chip DO NOT BOTHER! You are WAY BETTER off by getting your tracking device for your pets collar or something! Unless you have to get it through a cheap plan do not pay in full for this crappy as hell technology.

Was able to have my cat's microchip transferred to me via Ownership Transfer form in 10 business days for a $21 plus tax one time fee. Quick and easy process, thank you!
